Frequently Asked Questions
- When should I book my session?
- I am a stay at home mom with two young children not yet in school, so sessions during the week are extremely limited. If you have an idea of what you are wanting and when you are wanting them, for example: six month milestone photos, go ahead and send me an e-mail. The sooner you contact me, the higher chance I will have a specific day and time that you are looking for open and I can go ahead and put you in that spot. I only hold a certain amount of session each month and they tend to fill up. Most of my sessions take place on weekends in the mornings or late afternoons and are the most popular and first to go.
- How long do sessions last?
- Individual and Family sessions last between 45 min to 1 hour. Mini sessions last between 15 - 30 min. Newborns usually last 2 hours but can take up to 3 depending on the baby.
- What should we wear?
- Wear what you feel good in and what is comfortable. Coordinating, not matching, can really bring some personality to your photos. Don't be afraid of color, even small pops of color are great. Try to avoid all white or all black paired with khaki.
- When should I arrive for my session?
- Give yourself plenty of time to arrive at your session location on time. I suggested arriving at least 5 min before your session time. If you are unfamiliar with your session location, plan ahead. Its much better to arrive a little early then to arrive late and cut into your session time. During weekends and busy seasons I can have multiple sessions on the same day and I want to make sure we use your session time to the fullest to get all those cute photos!
- Do you photograph engagement and/or weddings?
- I do photograph engagement sessions however, I do not photograph weddings at this time, sorry.
- When will I receive my CD/DVD
- Once your session is complete you will receive one CD/DVD with edited high resolution photos for printing and edited web resolution photos for uploading to your blog or Facebook, in 1-2 weeks. I will e-mail you when your CD/DVD is in the mail and on its way to you.
